Gepard ASV is an Armoured Security Vehicle 4x4, first introduced by the Streit Group at DSEI 2017.
Gepard ASV is a new generation of multipurpose vehicles that can be used for various missions, for example, transportation of explosive goods, for urban and border patrols, performing various missions in peacekeeping operations or convoy escort.
The Gepard ASV has three main compartments - a engine at front, inhabited, including drivers with a commander and an troops compartment behind them, with six individual seats. In the rear of the vehicle there is a cargo compartment. The configuration of the seats can be changed according to customer requirements. The curb weight of the vehicle is 7300 kg and a payload is 1500 kg.
The Gepard ASV is based on the Ford F-550 chassis. It has 6.7-liter V8 Turbo diesel engine, equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum speed of 120 km/h with a maximum road range of up to 800 km.
Gepard ASV provides full protection against small arms, hand grenades and splinters. Standard protection level CEN B6.
On the roof of the vehicle there is one hatch, it can be used for integration a small remote controlled or manual weapon station armed with a 7.62 or 12.7 mm machine gun.
