The Arthron POD 125A small-sized UGV on a 4-wheeled chassis can withstand a fall from a height of up to 2.5 meters. Its symmetrical design allows to start working immediately after landing, with two identical color cameras and one night camera with backlight installed in front and rear part. There is a GPS navigation system. The capacity of the battery enough for 1.5 hours of operation, the maximum speed is 15 km/h, the control range is up to 300 m in the open area and up to 250 m in urban conditions, it is possible to control the 30-m cable.
The original robot communication architecture provides for its use in mass operations, when several UGVs are deployed over a larger area. For creation of a network it is possible to use up to 127 robots, each of which works as a separate network node, which increases the range and functional flexibility, especially in urban conditions.
