TYROC is a technical support robot that allows the handling of heavy loads. Lift capacities and payload are high: 200 to 400 Kg. Fully electric, machined and manufactured in aerospace alloy, TYROC provide significant help for observation, intervention in dangerous areas, inspection and demining. Its cockpit has been designed for quick and easy handling. 6 wide angle day / night cameras are equiped with this robot. Its base tracked is very stable and compact. The transmission blocks are integrated on each side in the crawler. The 6-axis arm is easy to use and very accurate. There are 7 actuators with each able to produce and provide a mechanical motion of a ton as part of the arm and lift forks.

The cockpit consists of a console with 7 joysticks (1-3 axis) and a screen simultaneously displaying 6 video images. Joysticks are very precise and very sturdy.The steering with gloves is possible and without difficulty. This robot was designed to have a very simple control system and the handling only takes a few minutes. Controlled by computer, the screen which can display 6 images offers different possibilities: photos, videos and measurements.Video transmission can be easily replaced by a cable (optical fiber).
