D.I.O. first introduced in 2011 a prototype of its 155 mm self-propelled howitzer on the chassis of MAN 6x6. In October 2017, a new version was demonstrated, now on the chassis of the IVECO Trakker 6x6 truck.

The design of the new Iranian self-propelled howitzer is very simple, the towed howitzer HM41 155 mm / 39 cal is installed on the rear part of the truck chassis and has a sight for direct and indirect firing. In the fighting position, a large shovel hydraulically descends from behind to provide a more stable fire platform.

It is assumed that the towed howitzer HM41 155 mm is a modernized version of the towed howitzer M114 with a caliber of 155 mm.

According to the technical specifications published by D.I.O., it has a maximum firing range of 30 km with a firing rate of 4 rounds per minute.

A 155 mm caliber gun is equipped with a twin-baffle muzzle brake to reduce the recoil, with the shutter mechanism being screw-type.
