ÎÒÎ - TRP3 FROG, is a light, tele-operated mini-UGV. The System is modular and flexible with respect to payload integration. The increasing miniaturization of Sensors and Electronic devices (MEMS) allows to integrate complex subsets in such small-sized platform.

The System has been developed in four versions:

• RISTA (Reconnaissance, Intelligence, Surveillance and Target Acquisition)

• Anti Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)

• Communications

• Electronic Warfare

OTO-TRP3 - FROG integrates an electro-mechanical system which allows to regain the correct vehicle attitude after an eventual turnover.

OTO-TRP3 FROG is able to operate as a node within a Sensors, Systems and Platforms network.

OTO-TRP3 FROG can be remotely controlled through T-UAV or larger UGV platforms to which it transmits the information acquired.

Thanks to the small size, TRP3 can be carried on and deployed from a larger UGV or from manned vehicles.

TRP3 FROG can be carried by PRAETOR-class vehicles by means of a remotely commanded interface mechanism and automatic deployment device.

While operating as a mother vehicle, PRAETOR is able to recollect the functions of control and monitoring a swarm of different-sized UGVs. The TRP3 deployed from PRAETOR performs specific surveillance and reconaissance tasks in integration and coordination with the mother-vehicle.
