Timoney Technology subsequently developed 6 × 6 vehicle called the CM-31 and this was shown at the 4th Taipei Aerospace & Technology Exhibition held in 1997.

This had a combat weight of 14.67 tonnes and was powered by a Caterpillar C12 diesel developing 410 bhp coupled to an Allison automatic transmission.
