There are two versions, CS 57770 and practice CS 57750. This has been designed for use with 66 mm vehicle grenade dischargers and dissipates a large cloud of CS smoke.

The grenade consists of a discharger base fitted with an electrical jackplug contact and the grenade payload screwed to the base.

The payload comprises a CS smoke producing composition. Smoke emission is through a number of holes around the body of the grenade. The grenades are fitted with a pull ring to enable them to be removed from the discharger if not fired. Effective range is 75 to 120 m and nominal burn time is 25 seconds.
