The K255 was developed to provide a rapid and continuous Supply of ammunitions for close combat service support which leads to the enhanced combat effectiveness of the 155mm self-Propelled howitzers.

It can stack 139 rounds of 155mm projectile,146 propellant Charges and 167 fuzes.
