The FVC107 forward observation cupola is fitted with a day/night laser rangefinding sight and is designed to be installed on tracked or wheeled vehicles in a mobile artillery observation role. The sight is gimbal-mounted and rotates through 360°. This ensures that with the platform levelled, all bearings, elevations and ranges of observed targets are accurate and true, with the vehicle at an angle of up to 8°.
