The grenade is designed to engage lightly armored materiel and manpower in the open, in trenches, field fortifications, pillboxes, buildings and structures of various types.

It defeats manpower in buildings with a volume of up to 200 m3, in trenches and bunkers if the grenade explodes at a distance of 1.5 to 2 m from the trench or embrasure. The warhead has a high mining, fragmentation and incendiary effect.
