LIW produces integrated artillery systems and customised turret solutions for armour, infantry and air defence. More than four decades of experience in development, industrialisation, manufacturing and product support resulted in world renowned products like the 155mm G6 SP howitzer, G5 towed gun and T6 155mm Autonomous turret.

The 105mm Light gun is unique in its class, with high mobility and performance matching that of bigger calibers. Other products include advanced light turrets, such as the 35DPG Dual Purpose Gun for Naval Applications.

Established in 1953, LIW is today one of South Africa’s leading defence equipment manufacturing companies, whose primary product focus is the provision of armaments such as complete 155mm Artillery Systems, Armoured and Infantry Combat Turrets and Naval and Air Defence Systems.
