Founded as DTM GmbH more than 16 years ago, the company was specialized in telecommunication equipment.

DICA AG was founded in 1998 with subsidiares in the USA, UK and Australia. Newly formed legal entity DICA Technologies GmbH 2002 in Dresden is a real Security Engineering Company. In 2006 the majority of DICA's shares were sold to a private investor in a private equity deal.

Today DICA is delivering the most advanced Hardware Cipher System for the Protection of Voice, Data and Video Communication in all ISDN Networks worldwide.
