PROTECHNIK Laboratories (Pty) Ltd is a research and development institution performing project work in the field of chemical and biological defence on behalf of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). Protechnik also provides technical support under contract to the South African Council forthe Non-Proliferation ofWeapons of Mass Destruction on technical aspects related to the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention. It has been designated at South Africa's Single Small Scale Facility.
