Preobrazhensky Land and Airborne Forces Armament Development Reseach Center

The Preobrazhensky Research Center specializing in the development of armaments for the Land Forces and the Airborne Troops is a state organization established by the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences as its affiliate.

The main trends of the center's activity are:

• R&D work, including the work associated with the development of armaments and military equipment, as well as dual-use technologies in the interests of military production conversion;

• organization and execution of independent examinations of solutions and projects in the field of armaments and military equipment, as well as military

production conversion and dual-use technologies;

• creation, development and ensuring functioning of an information computation center of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences;

• organization and holding of exhibitions of research and industrial products, symposia and seminars on subjects under development;

• editorial and publishing activity.
