Military Commanders make important decisions every day. Most of those decisions will involve a location - friendly force locations, enemy locations, re-supply locations. Making a decision will involve an analysis of location or terrain factors. ESRI's ArcGIS provides the critical defense infrastructure that provides computer support for these location-based decisions. Defense organizations around the world are recognizing the importance of GIS beyond the traditional confines of specialist usage. C4ISR systems of all kinds are being constructed on a foundation of the ArcGIS Platform. ESRI's exhibit at IDET will demonstrate the wide range of capabilities in today's ArcGIS platform.
