MAN Technologie's bridge systems division, specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of military bridges worldwide including armoured vehicle launched bridges and bridges for rapid deployment forces.

The division has an extensive design and engineering capability,available for work on customer-specific requirements, and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities for the fabrication of aluminium constructions.

LEGUAN 26M Bridgelaver

The 26m long MLC 70 LEGUAN bridge can be launched in less than

5 minutes from new or modified second hand tank chassis or from heavy

trucks.

Projects carried out on the following tank chassis:

• M1A1/A2'Wolverine'Heavy Assault Bridge (HAB),forthe US Army

• Leopard1,forthe Norwegian, Belgian and Greek Army

• M47 and M60, for the Spanish Army

In cooperation with Foreign Trade EnterpriceBumar, Poland, the LEGUAN bridge system will be adopted to the PT91 tank chassis for the Malaysian Army.
