Tata Motors signs MOU with Indonesia’s PT Pindad

Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile manufacturer and PT Pindad, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation, to effectively explore market potential of Tata Armoured Vehicles in Indonesia and other agreed regions of ASEAN. The MoU further includes a study to check the feasibility of locally assembling Tata Armoured Vehicles at PT Pindad’s facility, in Bandung in West Java province of Indonesia.

LEGUAN – Bridge-layer for the German Bundeswehr

Contract for Bradley Fighting Vehicle Gunner's Hand Station

Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., announced today that it received a $7.3 million contract to supply the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Gunner's Hand Station to the United States Army. The Defense Logistics Agency sole-source contract will be performed during a two-year period with work being completed in Fort Worth, Texas.

Supacat to deliver Special Operations Vehicles – Mobility Heavy (SOV-MH) to New Zealand

The New Zealand Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract to high mobility vehicle specialist Supacat, to deliver Special Operations Vehicles – Mobility Heavy (SOV-MH) for the New Zealand Defence Forces. Supacat is also in the process of agreeing a long term support contract with the New Zealand Defence Force to support the new fleet. The new SOV-MH vehicles are based on the latest MkII version of Supacat’s HMT Extenda and provide a high level of commonality with the equivalent vehicles with other Special Forces.

MBDA has started production of the MMP medium-range Anti-Tank Guided Weapon, with deliveries to the French Armed Forces due to take place next year.
