BAE Systems Secures ˆ12.5 Million Vehicle Follow on Contract from Finland

PARIS -- BAE Systems secured a contract for more than ˆ12.5 million ($15.7 million USD) to supply 25 RG32M mine-hardened armoured patrol vehicles to the Finnish Defence Forces. This contract follows Finland’s previous orders for 26 vehicles in 2010 and 23 vehicles in 2011.

German Armed Forces to Receive 110 Mercedes-Benz Zetros GTF Armoured Transport Vehicles

Wörth/Koblenz -- Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks is to supply the German armed forces with 110 Zetros GTF armoured logistics vehicles. The Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement and Daimler AG signed a corresponding agreement on 14 May 2012. Under the terms of the agreement, the German armed forces are to receive 25 Zetros 4x4 GTFs in the course of this year.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- ManTech International Corporation has been awarded the MRAP Contractor Logistics Sustainment and Support (CLSS) Services contract by the U.S. Army’s TACOM Contracting Center to continue providing logistics sustainment and support for the U.S. Military’s Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Family of Vehicles (FoV). The award has a total value of $2.85 billion and a period of performance of five years if all options are exercised.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The U.S. Army Contracting Commands, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., and Rock Island, Ill., have awarded General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, three contracts with a total value of $97 million for the manufacture and delivery of 120mm M865 and M1002 tank training ammunition, 105mm M1130 high-explosive (HE) pre-formed fragmentation (PFF) cartridges and 155mm M795 HE projectile metal parts.
