Armor Holdings, Inc. Announces $47 Million in MOLLE Orders

Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE)

Armor Holdings, a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced the award of a new delivery order valued at $47.1 million from the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Activity.

he Company stated that this new order brings the total accumulated orders to $108.6 million that have been issued under a $258.9 million multi-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract received in August 2006 for the supply of Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE). Production will be performed in 2007 and 2008 by the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group at its facilities located in Arizona, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

The MOLLE line of products has been very well received in the field as the primary load carrying system for the U.S. Army. This system is an important part of a suite of products designed to function together to provide critical protection and survivability to the troops in the field.
