JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of security products and vehicle armor systems, announced today that it has received orders for armor components totaling $12.2 million to support the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM).
The Company will provide equipment for the FMTV, HEMTT and PLS vehicles including such items as armor panels, ballistic glass, gun turret assemblies and product support. Work will be completed in 2005 at the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group facilities in Fairfield, Ohio and Phoenix, Arizona.
