The MAUSER RMK 30 is the first recoilless medium calibre cannon in the world. High fire power, low masses, compactness, rigid and simple design as well as high operational availability and reliability were the standard criteria. Nearly 100% recoil compensation is achieved by means of a laval nozzle in combination with a muzzle break. To realize the revolutionary weapon concept a new and advanced ammunition technology had to be applied. High integration flexibility allows the RMK 30 to be used as combat mission kit on almost any kind of light military vehicle or as main armament for modern infantry fighting vehicles.

Under development for the German Armed Forces.

The first prototype of the RMK 30 was completed in 1997 and underwent firing trials.
