The tactical all-terrain vehicle Zastava 1 NTV 4x4 was first presented at the Partner exhibition, which was held in Serbia in June 2019, the car was presented in two configurations: cargo and transporter.

The Zastava 1 NTV vehicle was developed by the Serbian Military Technical Institute in collaboration with Zastava TERVO from Kragujevac (Serbia). Prototypes were made at the plant in Kragujevac in two versions, a personnel transporter with an enlarged cabin for the transport of 10 people, and an option with a short cabin for 3 people for the transport of weapons or military equipment.

Zastava 1 NTV 4x4 (New Terrain Vehicle) is an off-road tactical vehicle designed to transportation of the personnel and equipment weighing up to 1,400 kg or towing a trailer with a maximum payload of 1,700 kg.

The vehicle is equipped with a CUMMINS ISF 3.8 turbocharged diesel engine with power of 205 kW. There is also an automatic transmission from ALLISON with 6 gears and a transfer box with two gears, four-wheel drive 4x4, with locking center differential. The suspension is independent for all wheels, with hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers.

ZASTAVA 1 NTV is equipped with a dual-circuit braking system with pneumatic control and a hydraulic booster. The wheels are equipped with a runflat system and a centralized tire pressure monitoring system.

ZASTAVA 1 NTV can move on roads at a maximum speed of 110 km/h with a maximum range of 600 km. The vehicle has a length of 5060 mm, a width of 2100 mm and a height of 2300 mm. The curb weight is 5800 kg, and the maximum payload is 1400 kg.
