ARCT Anti-Tank Remote Controlled Turred

Anti-Tank Remote Controlled Turret (ARCT), can be integrated on wheeled and tracked armored vehicles. The turret is offered in two configurations with respect to the use of anti-tank guided missiles. Thanks to the Anti- Tank Remote Controlled Tower, the gunner can perform surveillance, target detection, identification, recognition, lock-on and missile guidance functions through the control console under ballistic protection in the vehicle.

ARCT system ensures that the Kornet and Mizrak missiles can be effectively used on the armored carrier platform within their maximum effective range. With its modular architecture, it enables the easy integration of different anti-tank weapons.

Unlike conventional gun turrets, remote control turrets do not require a basket structure. Consequently, more interior space is available in the vehicle.

The turret incorporates the latest technologies in turret drives, fire control, protection and lethality; it can operate night and day, under all weather conditions thanks to its integrated electro-optical sensors. Thanks to its compact size and low weight, it can be integrated into many different types of armored vehicles.

The turret can be equipped with a variety of anti tank guided missiles as main armament. Along with the missiles, one coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun increases the firepower of the turret as a secondary armament and expands its field of duty.

The secondary armament’s functions, such as re-arming, firing, electrical extraction of empty cartridges are performed automatically from inside the vehicle.

The turret drive system is electrical with two axis stabilization capability to ensure a high accuracy of fire on the move. The turret can rotate in traverse axis 360o continuous with elevation from -25° to +25° with minimum rates of 60°/s.

Thanks to its fire control system and two-axis stabilized vision system, consisting of thermal camera, day vision camera and laser range finder, the Anti-Tank Remote Controlled Turret has an advanced fire control ability. The system can generate a kinematic lead solution for stationary/ moving targets ensures a more effective ammunition utilization.

Thanks to the independent power supply and intelligent power distribution system in the turret, the tower drive, gun firing and sighting systems can be electronically used for a while longer, in case of emergency, regardless of the vehicle battery.

The turret hull is made of all-welded aluminum armor with add-on steel armor providing ballistic protection up to STANAG 4569 standard.
