Designed to engage manpower located in the open, in trenches and on reverse slopes of the terrain by flat and curved fire at a high firing rate with VOG-25 and VOG-25P fragmentation rounds.

The grenade launcher features the revolver configuration, with the barrel cluster rotating from the preliminarily wound spring. It has a double-action firing mechanism, an extend able stock, a safety catch and a folding leaf iron sight which allows corrections for grenade drift. The grenade launcher is loaded from the muzzle and unloaded by pressing the extractor.
