D & J Industries was formed in 2003 by Don & Joyce Smith to provide Trail-A-Mate to the trailer, caravan and horse box industry. Trail-A-Mate is a hydraulic jockey wheel that converts into a hydraulic jack for use on most trailers up to 3 tons. It has a lifting capacity of 151ns (38cm) and due to brackets fitted on either side of the trailer it elliminates the need to go under the trailer when being operated. It requires no strengh and assists in the health and safety of the operator.
