PORTLAND, OR -- FLIR Systems, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a new contract modification adding $358.4 million to an existing indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama for its Star SAFIRE(R) III stabilized multi sensor systems. The units delivered under this contract will support ongoing U.S. Armed Forces force protection programs. Work will be performed in FLIR's Portland, Oregon facility.
