The mortar system is based on the Didgori Meomari modular platform and is equipped with a hydropneumatic mechanism for deploying and folding a 120 mm mortar located in the rear of the vehicle. The armor hull, like the base Didgori Meomari, is made with spaced armor, with a declared level of ballistic protection of the BR7 according to the European standard EN1063 (protection from a reinforced bullet of 7.62 × 51 mm NATO cartridge from a distance of 10 m).
