IVEMA (Pty) Ltd is a South African company that provides innovative and specialised solutions for defence, security and humanitarian aid clients. IVEMA designs, develops and produces vehicles required for military, public security and humanitarian aid tasks with a particular emphasis on mine and ballistic protection. In addition since 2000 IVEMA has provided various clients with a wide range of refurbished military and security vehicle solutions and is able to provide both customised and specialised vehicle advisory services, maintenance and product support. IVEMA has applied its experience and expertise to provide vehicle and weapon sub system design solutions that have been developed and manufactured in-conjunction with the client. IVEMA’s owners and staff have decades of experience in military, public security and humanitarian operations. This human capital ability is utilised to ensure that the clients’ individual requirements are met with specialised products and services. IVEMA’s Core Capabilities cover a broad range of products and services that serve clients in military, public safety and humanitarian fields. The core capabilities include the design and development of defence and security vehicles to prototype level; joint venture manufacture projects; specialist military engineering to provide weapon combat support and vehicle support system solutions; the conceptualisation and design of innovate solutions for humanitarian aid and disaster relief tasks and the marketing of various defence and security related products and services. IVEMA is a black owned and controlled South African based defence industry company. The ownership and management of IVEMA contains decades of experience and extensive knowledge in defence policy, the application of military and security doctrine, the design and development of mine-protected and armoured protected vehicles, the innovative design of military engineering solutions and military product support. |
